An Insider working with us has reported that there is an ongoing investigation into top management of Nelson Mandela Foundation.
According to Professor Njabulo Ndebele, Who is the Chairman of the Foundation Board, confirmed that an independent law firm owned by Bowman Gilfillan is currently carrying out an investigation related to allegations made by a whistleblower in December last year.
The chairman although has withdrawn details, but the media understands that the charges include staff misconduct, nepotism and a general atmosphere of fear.
Relating the news on Saturday, eNCA said they saw an outgoing internal memorandum to the Fund staff.
In the memorandum, Ndebele calls for calm and concentration.
He asks the staff to allow an independent investigation to be carried out.
