There has been a report of shooting in 56XX South Nottingham this morning.

According to the reports shared on Twitter, the 23-year-old man whose full identity has not yet been revealed was shot and killed at the scene of the shooting.

 

The shooting took place around 8’o clock in the morning.

Police in Nottingham last week uncovered two high-profile incidents.

In the early hours of Saturday, November 21, in the town of Spindle Gardens, Bilwell, a 25-year-old man was shot in the back, with a 24-year-old man stabbed in the back and in the face. Thursday, November 19, at 10:05.

Both victims were taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries and are currently in stable condition.

A Nottinghamshire police spokesman confirmed that the three men arrested in connection with the two incidents had now been pledged pending further questioning.

The men, aged 24, 22 and 22, were all arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.

“We have made fantastic progress over the last week, but our detailed inquiries into these cases continue.
